Bristol
Airport parking has been the subject of much debate over the last couple of weeks. After it was found that one of the schemes has been operating without a licence on a mushroom farm in Langford, the
Bristol
Airport parking location has since been refused planning permission by authorities.
The company who was using the land on the mushroom farm were hoping that an area on the farm that is currently being used as a compost yard could be used for Bristol
Airport parking instead. However, the application was declined early in October by council planning officers.
One of the reasons for the proposal being rejected is because local residents have complained that cars turn up at their houses thinking that it’s Bristol
Airport parking. This angers residents living nearby and also causes confusion for travellers who find it easier to just use
Bristol
Airport parking at the airport itself.
Local residents are especially happy about the council’s decision to refuse planning permission because it is thought that there will be a reduction in traffic which started to increase when the Bristol
Airport parking service started operating.
It is thought that the car parking company will appeal the decision although nothing has been said about it yet. Passengers using the airport can continue to use Bristol Airport parking at the airport as an alternative method.

Following the opening of their new, revamped departure gate, Aberdeen
Airport has announced plans a major expansion to the building. As BAA’s fastest growing airport which is predicted to welcome 3.4 million travellers this year alone, airport bosses feel that the expansion is much needed.
Included in the new plans is an extended runway which will allow new routes to Africa and the
USA in the future. The existing building will be modernised and extended and another layer will be added to the car park to make
Aberdeen
Airport parking quick and easy to find.
Travellers are bound to be impressed with the plans for the airport who is hoping to meet the needs of an increasing number of passengers every year. Plenty more seating will be available to passengers waiting in the departure lounge including window seats for those who enjoy watching the aeroplanes going by.
The airport entrance is also going to be upgraded to provide more check in facilities which will make the process quicker and easier. In order to take the pressure off Aberdeen
Airport parking facilities, the addition of another car park tier will provide another 300 spaces for passengers looking for
Aberdeen
Airport parking.
Many passengers worry that when airports expand even further that parking that is already limited will become even harder to find. This is why airport bosses have taken this factor into consideration and decided to extend on the facilities already available. This means that travellers won’t have any problems with regards to finding Aberdeen Airport Parking so they can get their holiday off to the best possible start.

Many people find the hassle of getting to and from airports stressful and expensive. Whilst there are a number of options available to travellers, it’s hard to find one that is convenient to them and reasonably priced as well.
Perhaps this is why so many people who need Cardiff
Airport parking are turning to meet and greet services available there. This service involves customers driving their cars to the drop off point and the rest is taken care of for them.
Cardiff
Airport parking has never been easier or more convenient for people going on their travels. Once customers have dropped off their car they will be taken directly to their terminal by a driver which means that they don’t have to wait for a bus or carry heavy luggage around with them.
Holiday makers will be assured that their cars will be kept in a safe and secure car park while they are away so they don’t have to worry about anything. Once people have returned from their trip someone will be waiting for them at the terminal they are arriving at. They will then be taken to their car where they dropped it off on arrival.
These meet and greet services have become more and more popular for those requiring Cardiff Airport parking as it is one of the best ways of getting to and from the airport. Many people find getting public transport to airports is inconvenient as they have lots of luggage with them and for those with children it can be an especially stressful journey.
Taxis are a more convenient way of getting to airports but are very expensive especially for those who live far away. The cheapest and easiest method is usually for a friend or family member to provide lifts. However, this is not always possible as flights can be at inconvenient times and not everyone has access to a car large enough to cater for all the luggage.
People are discovering that finding Cardiff
Airport parking doesn’t need to be expensive or stressful with meet and greet services. The majority of companies offering these services are very reasonably priced when you consider the cost of public transport and the hassle you are going to save yourself.
Services such as these mean that finding Cardiff
Airport parking is a piece of cake and people can relax and enjoy their holidays.

Gatwick
Airport has come up with a fresh and innotive new idea to help cope with
Gatwick a
irport parking when they open Terminal 5 next year.
In order to help passengers move quickly and easily between Gatwick Airport parking facilities and the new terminal, driverless pods which will be controlled by an internal computer and sensor system will be introduced.
The pods are part of a new phenomenon called personal rapid transport (PRT) and will help ease traffic congestion whilst providing people with the same privacy they would get in their own car whilst using only a fraction of the energy.
Gatwick
Airport parking is the first to publically test this new technology and if it is successful will extend PRT throughout the airport. It is predicted that the new pods will be a hit with
Gatwick a
irport parking customers as they offer many benefits.
They don’t run on a timetable and customers should find a pod waiting for them when they arrive at the service. This means no waiting around for busses and as well as this, there aren’t any other stops along the way and no traffic lights. As they are set as private taxis customers are always guaranteed seats and don’t have to share a pod with people they don’t know.
With so many advantages of the new pods being introduced, customers travelling between Gatwick Airport parking and Terminal 5 are bound to be happy with the new and exciting choice of transport which is predicted to be a massive success.

Manchester
Airport parking has become a topic of debate as bosses have banned their car park attendants from giving motorists a push start if they break down. This rule has been enforced after there was a complaint that a car had been damaged when a member of staff offered to help a customer who needed assistance.
The decision has been made in a bid to prevent Manchester Airport parking staff from accidentally damaging vehicles when they are trying to help the owners. Customers who use the parking facilities at the airport have mixed feelings about the new rules. Some motorists can see where the airport is coming from whereas others feel that it is a perfect example of how political correctness has taken over.
The decision has also upset many customers who use Manchester Airport parking as they have been left stranded after staff have been unable to help them. Many feel that it is appalling that staff are unable to lend a helping hand when customers may need it the most.
The decision has also left staff feeling helpless as all they can do it watch motorists try and get their car started if they break down. However, customers who use Manchester Airport parking can be assured that the AA will be there to provide free assistance to them if they find themselves stranded between 6am to 6pm.
The new rule is currently under review and Manchester Airport parking bosses are hoping to abandon it very soon. The airport is in the process of finalising a disclaimer form which means they cannot be blamed for any damages in the future. Once this has been done staff will once again be able to assist customers when they need it which will make those who use Manchester Airport parking happy once again.
