The decision has been made in a bid to prevent Manchester Airport parking staff from accidentally damaging vehicles when they are trying to help the owners. Customers who use the parking facilities at the airport have mixed feelings about the new rules. Some motorists can see where the airport is coming from whereas others feel that it is a perfect example of how political correctness has taken over.
The decision has also upset many customers who use Manchester Airport parking as they have been left stranded after staff have been unable to help them. Many feel that it is appalling that staff are unable to lend a helping hand when customers may need it the most.
The decision has also left staff feeling helpless as all they can do it watch motorists try and get their car started if they break down. However, customers who use Manchester Airport parking can be assured that the AA will be there to provide free assistance to them if they find themselves stranded between 6am to 6pm.
The new rule is currently under review and Manchester Airport parking bosses are hoping to abandon it very soon. The airport is in the process of finalising a disclaimer form which means they cannot be blamed for any damages in the future. Once this has been done staff will once again be able to assist customers when they need it which will make those who use Manchester Airport parking happy once again.
